On December 14th, 2012 the Town of Newton located in the state of Conneticut had a tragic incident which affected people from all over the world. On this day a man by the name of Adam Lanza shot his way into the front doors of Sandy Hook Elementary School which had approximately 600 kids in the grades of k-4. Adam Lanza shot 20 kids between the ages of 6 and 7. He also shot 6 adults between the ages of 26 and 57 but this was not all he also killed his mother earlier on that morning multiple times. This horrific incident has since spread across the world and has influenced many to change how they feel about gun control. This is a very sad and devastating thing that has happened and I believe that things need to change.
I believe that there does need to be a change on gun control because i feel as if most of the people in this country or world should not be able to carry guns just because unless their jobs require them to and they're license. I believe that the world should have the gun control requirements the same as Japan has theirs. The requirements in Japan are that you first have to take a class and a written exam. then you have to have a skill test at a shooting range , then you have a drug test, and finally you have to have a mental evalatuation.
